Mailman
5-8" locally on 0z Euro (10:1).
Rd9108
I'm seeing .6-.8 of snow according to the euro. Didn't change much.

JPOracle
Who ever follows any of the local WTAE, KDKA, WPXI, there weather forecasts are going to be proven to be horribly wrong again. They don't know how to predict large winter storms at all. All they give is nothing but crap. They said 3-6 of snow the night we got 2 feet in 2010. Flooding is ongoing in many spots
KPITSnow
Good god...woke up and checked the 6z NAM and it shifted 100 miles east almost....took us from about 15 inches to 4.
KPITSnow
Both 6z nams were absolutely dreadful for us. I hope this is a 6z off run, but euro was also hinting at things sliding too far to the east for us.
RitualOfTheTrout
Wow... What a wild night, It must have been a dream, but I swear an EF5 spun up in my neighborhood.. next thing I knew I woke up in a bed of flowers surrounded by what I can best describe as children singing songs of snow, models showing Blizzard of 93 analogs, and I now have this red pair of bedazzled tennis shoes..... But it wasn't a dream. It was a place! CranberryWX
Crap load of rain last night. I measured 2.48" as of 7 AM and another batch of rain coming in. Just getting up so haven't seen the news but I can bet there is flooding around with the ground being frozen. I have standing water all over the yard. This will make a slushy mess when we get our big 3".
KPITSnow
If the NAM is still east, I’m going to basically call this a 2-4, 3-5 at best event. I really thought this might end up a 4-8, 6-10, but trends haven’t been great
KPITSnow
12z NAM is not very good. Game over...looks like we are getting shafted again.
Burghblizz
At a glance it doesn’t look horribly out of line with the forecasts. Not super amped, but not sure any high totals were ever in play without a closed 500 low. That’s why forecasts have been modest. Like I have been saying, the analog for me is Feb ‘11. If the changeover can be timed up well, it can overperform a little.

MikeB_01
Seeing some very weird things from the models from different sources. COD's page shows the NAM at about 3 inches. Yet TT shows a good swath of 8... Im confused.

KPITSnow
Yeah, those maps look good, but you can usually cut those totals by a third at least on those NAM maps. The NAM usually way overdoes totals.
