40/70 Benchmark
Back to 31.9/31 after a high of just 33. Still icy. Why didn't we spike after the frontal passage? I expected to hit like 40 once we mixed out...
40/70 Benchmark
NE MA is a sneaky-good CAD area once ssts cool.....cold air really wedges in between the marine layer to the east, and the spine of the ORH hills to the west.

ORH_wxman
Really bizarre. The warmth never made it to northern ORH even though it tickled the airport. What a crazy gradient. Still ice up near the Holden line.
dendrite
There's still time to mix out. I'm bouncing between 32F and 34F now with occasional light NW breezes. 1500' mixed out to 38F, but is back down to 35F with CAA. So even if the wind starts climbing up to 10-20mph we should stay below 40F. I'd like a few hours of mid 30s to get the ice out of the trees. I called it in and the Nat Grid employee was saying a lot of poles and trees down in N Mass.
