RIC_WX
.92" today (still raining, but tapering off) 1.82" in November 4.18" in October 41" and counting YTD Yes it was bone dry for 2 five week periods roughly overlapping June and September, but otherwise on pace for an average to slightly wetter than usual year. The summer was, by far, the wettest I have seen in 8 examples since moving here in 2010.

nw baltimore wx
No idea how much rain fell because it's too wet and cold to check the gauge. Also, I'm almost convinced that we see that freeze Friday night that losetoa6 has been touting. It's been so long that I have had trouble buying in, but NWS had my Saturday AM low at 31 a few days ago, 25 yesterday, and now says 22. May have to put a cup of water outside to see what happens. Put on my big boy pants and braved the elements. .92" here today with some drizzle. 38.
WVclimo
Only 0.38" in the gauge since 7:00 a.m. Sure seemed like more than that. High of 42 is 16 degrees below normal.
RDM
.96" today and currently 39F. Pretty raw out there today. Had to make a couple long walks to/from my car and some USG buildings and it was ugly. Loved every step thinking, if only a few degrees colder... Stormpc
Final tally of .83". 39 degrees. I would have lost my first .15-.2 to rates/sun angle and warm pavement. I would have ended up with 5 inches of snow from this one, factoring in compaction. I'm bored.

WxUSAF
Possible sub 40F highs for northern and western burbs (at least) for Friday and Saturday. That would be pretty impressive.

mitchnick
Watch the day 10 storm in Illinois. It seems like it has no where to go but south of us. This is the one, I believe, that has already been mentioned as a threat on some ensemble members. https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/?model=ecmwf®ion=namer&pkg=z500aNorm&runtime=2017110812&fh=240&xpos=0&ypos=

BTW, last 48 hours has been really nice. THIS is what I think of when November is mentioned, 40's and battleship gray skies and drizzle.........
