uncle W Posted November 11, 2017 Share Posted November 11, 2017 the last time NYC set two record lows within minutes was back on January 8th, 1968...the 2 degree temp at midnight set a record low and the -1 in the early morning hours of the 9th set a record low...before that it happened in May 1963... donsutherland1 Posted November 11, 2017 Share Posted November 11, 2017 New York City Area Records as of 8 pm: New York City: JFK: 28° (tied record set in 2004) LGA: 30° (broke record of 31° set 1956) NYC: 27° (tied record set in 1914) Bridgeport, Newark, and White Plains were all within 3° or less of their daily record low temperature.
