ct_yankee
Lots of shear right now. Some of the updrafts coming in off the sound have clear supercellular structure, albeit very rudimentary. And yeah, I know I'm gonna get weenied for that observation, but its still true. Wish I'd taken a picture...

powderfreak
Friend had a tree come down on his house this morning. Some big gusts mixing down from time to time. Wind at the ski resort is just cranking. Sustained probably at 30mph in the base area, which is pretty solid for outside of winter.

tamarack
Several short heavy showers in Augusta, the last and heaviest passing to our north as I type, but little wind. I'm guessing less than 1/4" due to the brief durations. The big dog is entering WNE.

powderfreak
Best rain totals so far in the Catskills and SW ALB area....fairly widespread 1.5-2.5" there. I thought the Berk's would be doing better but maybe it might come back in. Precip redeveloping east of ACY and coming up the coast as thin lines of heavy rain.
