NWS Local storm reports showing some reports of 2.5" to 4" in New Jersey. Some buoys have gusts over 50mph (not too far from getting to the 58mph threshold)

Probably about the same by me. Nassau County has been kind of in a shaft area between the heavy rain over the city/NJ and Suffolk. Winds here are gusting over 40 but nothing more than you'd see in a decent nor'easter. 

Ahh well, it's needed rain regardless and I wasn't looking forward to the power being out.

We just had a little coastal front come through in uptown manhattan.  We were NE/ENE, nothing special, just swung to SE and started gusting to 40-45.  I'm on an exposed SE-facing deck.
