Up to 3.05" of rain on the event with plenty more to come. That dry slot looks headed for NYC East, so the surface low will probably track right up the NJ immediate coast and over the city itself. That means more rain and less wind for NJ and less rain and more wind East of the Hudson.

Again. Over hyped event. Yes. There will be some 3-5" rain totals locally. Yes, There will be some localized flooding in the NORMAL areas. Ohh. We will get some 40 mph gusts of winds. Maybe even 50 mph out of NW  Tommorow morning. WILL there be some higher winds somewhere? Yup. But region wide, this is a over hyped BS storm

Sorry. Hopefully a couple trees land on your car to validate the storm. :(

Locally? I'd say pretty widespread. Not sure what you were expecting 100 miles inland

There was actually no hype for this event, the media barely picked up on it, very few people have even talked about it. Even the NWS was slow to catch on in some places.

Watch out for a sting at the base of that comma head!  Way more midlevel drying than modeling showed.

I think the winds behind this may actually over perform, it's still going to deepen substantially as it moves past us with very strong CAA behind it and rapid pressure rises.

Winds have definitely picked up quite a bit, getting near 30 mph gusts
