Got caught in one of those on the Great South Bay Bridge of all places. It’s scary enough on a sunny day. Not a fun drive with with high winds and blinding rain.

Looks like there is some additional precipitation just off the NJ coast on radar that could affect eastern portions of the city and LI and possibly the jersey shore.

Picked up .53 of rain here. An underperformer, but at least it was still a decent soaking. A half inch of rain seemed like a lot after how dry it has been.

HPN has .02 and it's mostly over was modeled for days and days of 1 to 2 with some models over 4 inches

That line along the Jersey Shore looks like yet another near-miss for me.

Seems like I’m always a little too far west for LI-centric activity and too far east/south for NYC-centric activity. Boring.
