Looking for Some Archived Weather Data

I actually didn't think this would be as difficult given the year (the events occurred June 5th and 6th 2010) but I've hit a wall and that sort of puts a little dent in my presentation.  I'm doing a little case study for my mesoscale class and doing the severe weather events in New England both those days.  I was originally looking to find some archived bufkit data (from the RUC) but unfortunately the one link I came across from here doesn't start the archives until December 30th, 2010 and google searching has come up empty.  

I was also looking around for archived regional surface observations which showed surface wind speed/direction for not just the main stations.  I used the SPC mesoanalysis archive but they only had a couple stations given its a national sector archive only.  The wPC archives only really shows the major stations.  Would like stuff showing winds for like BDL, CEF, BTV, etc.
