40/70 Benchmark
This radio show needs a drunken Ray to amp it up a little. No point right now
weathafella
i think we'll get a hook left at 96...similar to 18z, but less expansive precip shield Alot more qpf for you and I this run I believe...
Clinch Leatherwood
congrats me?? lol Why are you hating on your virtual neighbor? I'm in the game. The key will be the mauler coming due south that the RGEM/NAM/GFS all have. That's either going to be the saviour or dropkick. I like our odds. HoarfrostHubb
What is the pressure of the low at 102 on the GFS? Looks like 980 or 960... can't read it...
MaineJayhawk
Looks better up here, But we need a nw shift........ Yes, nice improvement. I'm happy where we stand now. Let's get the Doc on our side, too.

Boston-winter08
Alot more qpf for you and I this run I believe... yeah for sure...slows it down a bit once it gets over us vs. 18z, seems like a reasonable solution, though I'd like to think the EURO's right... we'll see what the GGEM says in an hour
weathafella
Big western push in qpf vs 12/

HoarfrostHubb
That low pulls away quickly between 102 and 108... darn
Clinch Leatherwood
The GFS and I think all models so far tonight are trending towards this being tucked in up towards us if at all. I like what I see and think this is the right direction. I said I'd take the 18z GFS QPF 20 miles NW and that's roughly what we're looking at here. Good run. It's not the storm that ends the world but it's a nice snowstorm.
NorEastermass128
I think this turns into a 4-8" NW zones....6-12" closer to the coast with a few 12"+ lollies. A solid nor'easter.
40/70 Benchmark
If this run verified, I'd vomit.
Tropopause_Fold
That low pulls away quickly between 102 and 108... darn it might be a bit quick. but this run is actually pretty close to the 12z ec ens mean
nutmegfriar
That low pulls away quickly between 102 and 108... darn So, we've had "24-hour storm, pulls away quickly, monster, scraper, occludes south, occludes north, outside the benchmark, tucks inside the benchmark, left hook, and f u c k i n g monster". I think we have it covered.

weathafella
This looks like a great storm for us. Will it be the Euro 2+ footer...hopefully but it's obviously alot to ask for. AS it is now, metro BOS gets a foot on tonight's GFS and the Cape gets 18+
40/70 Benchmark
So, we've had "24-hour storm, pulls away quickly, monster, scraper, occludes south, occludes north, outside the benchmark, tucks inside the benchmark, left hook, and f u c k i n g monster". dryslot
Yes, nice improvement. I'm happy where we stand now. Let's get the Doc on our side, too. Yeah, It looks better by not closing it off to far south like the euro has, Now if we can get the euro further north before it closes off we will be in business..........
