Unfortunately though, much of that debris was impacts on real people and homes. We just happened to be as close as Waynesville, but it was safely west of the action. Thought about chasing east of Asheville, but on a rainy Sunday elected to stay put and watch football. I also wonder why no box. Sure it was well east of the low, but models had the screaming LLJ all the way to the Piedmont. Plus models showed sups. Human pattern recognition says more lift up the Escarpment. Finally a quasi-east-west boundary was in place over the Carolinas. No fronts on tropical systems, blah blah blah. There was a boundary... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
