Lack of a -AO (high latitude blocking) and a non-persistent negative EPO means the Pacific air masses have ruled . Jomo, can you make any sense out of this? Wx 24/7
I will admit it has been so long before an actual event to pay attention to HRRR, does it usually overjuice like the NAM sometimes does? The 00z run is fascinating.
NwWhiteOut
Wording has changed a bit for here now on the regular 7 day, seems to sound like its going to be a cold rain event over to a wee bit of sleet and snow on the back end(half inch at best). Really curious as to what happens for all of you in a winter storm warning, hopefully breaks the snow drought for a lot. I will say, the temps are about 2 degrees lower right now here than what the low was progged at tonight. 34 currently
lokee
Snow line is getting ready to hit SW Oklahoma at Childress. Looks like Lawton will have some thunder snow.

lokee
Watching radar returns from Fredrick and Dyess Okc will be very close to the heavy snow. Dyess is showing thunder and lighting heading into Lawton and the system has a NNE movement, at least from my perspective.
Wx 24/7
I hope I am not jinxing things here because I said I wouldn't believe it until I saw it on radar... this looks like it is going to be a widespread significant event for the region. Good luck to all today as the storm moves through.
StormChazer
VERY HEAVY sleet moving into Tulsa right now. All I can hear is ice pellets and the roads are already getting covered.

JoMo
Pretty underwhelming. Had some pretty good snowfall for a bit. Seems there's a bit of a dry patch now. HRRR really narrows the band.

westhope84
Okmulgee to Salina to Neosho looks to be the jackpot zone? I was hoping Tulsa would hit the jackpot, but we’ve seen some pretty nice rates at times so far.

ouamber
I live near downtown Tulsa, and honestly I’m not impressed with this....lol look at me, turning into a snow snob after not having anything for 3 years! Seriously though, I’m not sure there is even 2 inches outside!

I thought we’d get at least 4 inches.

Good radar echoes coming in from the SW. Anxious to see what that might bring, besides rain.
