Weatherdemon
It’s a long way off but, the CFS shows a prolonged period of below freezing temps and four waves moving through between 1/23-1/30 for OK. Most favorable pattern I’ve seen so far for winter weather chances this season.
MUWX
Any thoughts on the late week storm? I haven't had a chance to look at the euro but the GFS/FV3/CMC all have something.
bdgwx
Euro has some snow...more on the east side of MO than the west, but Springfield is still in the ballpark right now for some accumulation at least as modeled.
WhiteoutWX
It’s another complicated setup. I fully expect it to evolve further, but I’d say anyone in northeast OK, southeast KS and eastward has a shot for this to trend favorably.
JoMo
An interesting 'backdoor' type snowfall where the cold air comes from the east of the area.
garfan
Monday thinking by the NWS Springfield, MO "Models are again showing a low passing south of the area with precipitation across the region on the northern side of the system. If the track holds, the confidence in this is low for now, then the Ozarks would see the potential for a rain/snow mix for the end of the week into the weekend." lovableweatherguy
So far the storm of interest late week looks good on most models for the STL area. We are all getting excited but not going on in yet. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
Wx 24/7
I won't get excited about the weekend system. I won't get excited about the weekend system. I know the models are pulling a trick. I won't get excited. I won't.

Still, it is real quiet around here.

NwWhiteOut
Meh looks to be primarily a very cold rain again for here unless things change lol (forecast shows 33 and rain at night 37 during the day). Same ole same ole, nothing new

Weatherdemon
Another system tracking just far enough in one direction to keep us with cold rain. I think we're N, S, S, N on the too far directions so far.
lovableweatherguy
Ya looks like this storm is going to be good for us folks in Saint Louis. Let's see what happens. Alot could change. StormChazer
While I never got my hopes up for this system for Tulsa. Seeing that if the forecast was just 2 or so degrees cooler we could be looking at some amazing snow is frustrating. Feels like wasted opportunities.

By the way, I went to high school in Republic so I'm very familiar with the area.

Wx 24/7
Snow snow all around... but this donut hole is frustrating. Need to watch surface temps closely but looks like I am out of this one, too. Folks to the NE of us... enjoy!

It does feel like a giant donut hole here as well lol, friday night says 34 degrees and rain...such a shame and a waste of yet another decent batch of moisture. All storms so far have been at this borderline temp at around 33-35 degrees its insane! ouamber
Good luck to all you MO folks!! The excessive cold rain and days without a WSW here is Tulsa is over 1400 days now. It's an absolute joke! I see nothing on the horizon to get even remotely excited about. All this talk about "this will be the year to break the snow drought" LIES! (Yes, I'm pouting.... #SorryNotSorry #This"winter"sucks!
