Sounds like you all did better than I. I am on the south side of Springfield, and from what I have seen, we haven't gotten anything more than heavy flurries. Nothing Stuck here. Still time for something to happen, but radar doesn't look overly promising currently.

It came down pretty heavily here for a bit. Probably got around 2" accumulation, but it's been melting, roads look good now.

I think north of here did alright, and I know republic got a pretty decent amount but southern springfield was totally missed.

It was nice to see snow in November.  Temps needed to be a few degrees colder (good call JoMo).  But not a bad start.  We need the Thursday storm to shift NW by a couple hundred miles.  STL may get whacked per the 12z Euro.

Any chance of a shift with it coming up out of the gulf/ArkLaTex area?

I'd definitely watch central Arkansas to central Missouri and points east with the (Thurs) upper low as of right now, weird things happen under strong upper lows. If it tilts faster than models project than maybe areas a bit farther west may be under the gun for some more snow.

Yeah, some areas may see a bit of light snow or a mix on Sunday but it shouldn't amount to much. Expect a warmup as we head into Thanksgiving. From there, things will get more interesting again as the teleconnections line up with a -AO, a developing -EPO and a +PNA by the end of the month.

It is currently snowing lightly..ground is beginning to turn white...two snows before turkey day? I like it! I don't think it will amount to much . The a winter weather advisory has been posted - 1-4 inches of snow possible .

..WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow is expected with a total snow accumulation of 1 to
4 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central and
southwest Missouri. The highest snowfall rates are expected
between midnight and 8 am. The heaviest snow is expected in the
Rolla and Salem areas with lesser amounts elsewhere.

The latest Euro says this storm cuts off as it forms in Colorado and Kansas. The QPF shows heavy snow in Kansas and Nebraska, like 1.2" water equivalent of snow at Goodland KS.  It will be interesting to see if this type of extreme is shown if we get this storm within 72-96 hours. Right now, it's 6.5 days out, essentially.

If I’m not mistaken, with the KC office issuing winter storm warnings, that breaks a long drought does it not? I remember looking at a graphic posted last year of how many days it had been since a winter storm warning had been issued. Anyone know where to find that?

Feeling good about this year being the year Tulsa gets in on some appreciable snow.

It's been forever since we've been in a Warning, the streak continues. We had an Ice Storm warning a year ago but it's been ages since a Winter Storm Warning.

FYI it's been almost 5 years since MCI(KC airport) has had over 3 inches of snow.

We’re the Cleveland Browns of WSW’s!  They finally got a win this year so hopefully we can too.

Even South Texas and North FL have had one in the last year.  Not sure if we should laugh, cry, or move.

Well, you could go 3.42 years without a tornado watch, as DTX has.
