nw baltimore wx
.20" as of 6AM from the front and now finally getting some steadier Nate rains. And I'm wondering if Jeb is a gambler or a casino worker.

gymengineer
I enjoyed my drive in to work. Squally tropical rains feel different than "regular" rain. I was pretty soaked even with an umbrella. DCA: 22mph/g30.

Crazy tropical/muggy air for October. I'll have to record search to see if that is a record for the entire month......EDIT: OK, this CRUSHED my record for late overnight warmth, not even close. So to compare, overnight was 67.6 degrees, the latest I have for a 68 degree low is 9/6/12 (68.1) and average last 68 degree night is August 12th! For 67 degrees my latest (which this broke) was 9/16/89 (67) and average last 67 degree night is August 18th! Did end up with 2.70 inches of rain from storm as of 7 am, VERY much needed. poolz1
Amazing how a typical wind driven rain is that much more interesting when you know it's from a tropical system. Not sure of a total as of yet but at 530am I had .42"...probably somewhere a little over an inch total.
dailylurker
Pretty lame here. Didn't get anything yesterday and about .75" from this morning's showers. I was hoping for a couple inches. Hopefully mid week is a soaker.

CAPE
Just as I predicted, a quarter inch. Actually 0.23". Better than nothing. Always feast or famine when it comes to rain. EastCoast NPZ
.23" yesterday .81" today. 1.04" total. Much needed, but a far cry from the 2 - 3" projections just the day before. Rainy day turned into mostly sunny by noon. Shocker. Mega-torch. Shocker. 8:30 PM on October 9 and the temp is 78F. Unreal.
