EastCoast NPZ
Fron this weekend..... Beautiful maple behind Stumptown Ales: Beautiful Breakfast Stout at Stumptown, a must-stop for any trip around that area: Black Water Falls: Down-stream from the Falls: View of the Black Water River gorge from Lindy Point: Around the recreational lake in Black Water Falls Park: Scenic overlook of the Black Water River gorge. * ETA: Crap, posted it in the wrong thread. Can a mod please move this to the foliage thread? Don't want to interrupt the 2-page thread encompassing all of October's OBS about sunny and way-above-normal temps, broken only by a 3-4 day stretch of mostly cloudy, drizzle, and above normal temps. wxdude64
Great pics ECNPZ! I was on the Highland Scenic Highway Saturday and looked about the same, could have stayed all day just looking at the colors.
RevWarReenactor
well the first round amounted to a few sprinkles. Lets see if the main batch will find a way to avoid us completely. It just doesn't want to rain here. It just want to be July hot. Sick of this weather.

EastCoast NPZ
^^This fall is a complete disaster. The best month of the year wasted. Another year with a 6-month long summer. On the bright-side, we've got all winter long to recoup all those upper 60s highs/low 40s lows we were robbed of this month.
smokeybandit
So it looks like we get but an hour or two of rain from Nate tomorrow morning?

I’ve heard that called RNA, but I’d say negative PNA.
Bob Chill
Oct is the transitional month so getting a few weeks of warm is pretty normal. The upcoming pattern isn't warm across the country. The Intermountain west will be pretty wintry the next couple weeks. Second half will prob flip with the ridge/trough location at some point. I went late with the first freeze contest but I now have a hunch that bwi/iad both get it done before Halloween.
