The trees at the cemetary 2 blocks down my street...just wow. They look spectacular, even on gray day. Not sure what they are, the leaves look like beech or elm-like.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that is the first time somebody here has posted pics from a cemetery.  ;)

Nice colors.

Snow chasing, eh?

Yep lol.  Thinking about just playing the southern edge of the heavier snowfall as I don't want to have to deal with too bad of driving conditions.  Only thing I'm not thrilled about is the winds are looking to be pretty strong, so may not be too scenic looking with the granulated flakes, etc.

This is my first winter with 4X4 in both of our household vehicles.

2017 Chevy Silverado 1500
2017 Toyota Rav4 AWD Hybrid.

For living in a sub, my driveway incline is insane. My wife got stuck at least 3 or 4 times per winter trying to get the Prius or Traverse up the drive.

I’m in a rural sub, well and septic but neighbors all around, and for living in IL, it’s very hilly. Also have experience with impassable driveway slope. The key with 4x4 on the driveway - you now have traction but you don’t necessarily have control... make sure to practice a little on the ice with the wife!

0z NAM a little more bullish on snow in IN/OH/KY for Saturday morning. Not that any of it will actually stick.

Just beat me to it.  Not the only model suggesting a changeover at the tail end of the precip so may be worth watching for first flakes for some of you.

Glad I didn't bother heading up to northern IA.  Didn't pan out anything like what the models had been forecasting.

Just a cold and cloudy day here with strong westerly winds.  If we see any flurries it will be in the middle of the night.

Weather pattern is active, but not much of anything exciting to track.  Zzzzzzz
