Nada here in Haywood pretty much.

After the first initial thump of slush temps warmed rapidly here. Now up to 37.7.

Too early to call it yet but so far this winter has been pretty disappointing. It's been a little colder this year but still need about two and a half feet of snow just to hit normal. Looks like the next couple of weeks are not going to produce much so it's really going to have to go out with a bang. We'll see, but not holding my breath.

GSP

.....With developing CAA and NW flow,
expect snow showers to develop this evening across the TN border
counties then tapering off near daybreak. Could see up to an inch in
the lower elevations with up to 2 inches above 3500 feet. Right
now, it seems this will be below advisory level snow for most of
that area.

That would be great, but it already appears to be disappearing/thinning as it enters western Tennessee and Kentucky. I'm sure the usually favored NWFS areas will get a good burst however.

Wow Buncombe County Schools should have been a two hour delay if not three, roads are terrible in a lot of sections around Erwin and Enka school districts, I'm a bus driver and man was it slick in a lot of places, lots of other drivers calling in about sliding, roads were icy and snow was covering some of the roads.  snow was falling this morning and cars would run over it and melt then refreeze.
