Ginx snewx
Not hyping but not anti hyping either, modeling has big winds for a reason, don't discount or count it. Wouldn't be the first huge fall gale with hurricane force gusts. Watching closely

40/70 Benchmark
Its going to end up tracking over the canal or se MA....relegating any damaging wind to cape Anne, and especially cape cod. I doubt any land area sees 100mph gusts.

OSUmetstud
I'm not sure the short window of tropical development east of Florida means much. The flow is very fast. Its synoptically very favorable for a strong anomalous low to develop with some kind of sst/convective assist. The set up does lend itself to significant wind potential. CoastalWx
Euro is more of a baroclinic low and not that tight circulation 00z had when it gets up here. Still looks like a good wind event as it heads into HRV. Winds definitely seem a bit tamer than 00z.

USCAPEWEATHERAF
Scott, anybody, I just picked up on the tropical/extratropical development threat for our area, I mean I have been watching the models the whole time, just didn't put together the fact we could another Noel storm system in our area next week, early next week. 12z GFS has surface winds of sustained 80 knot winds, in CHH. We need to watch this for hurricane force wind potential and damaging winds.

That would destroy everything on Cape Cod with those type of winds as the trees are still full of leaves the colors have changed little since October began. This nor'easter could send Cape Cod into darkness for several days.
