powderfreak
Man the 12pm newscast showed the dews in SNE and wow that's impressive. I thought upper 50s and around 60F up here was a bit humid but widespread upper 60s to low 70s down south is pretty tropical for October. Dews are higher than some average highs for this date. tamarack
Had 0.27" this morning. Round 2 looks like we 7-10, upstream echoes better to south, much better to north. Still might wind up with an inch if I include yesterday's downpour; need another 0.24" to reach it.

wxeyeNH
63/62 .45" Looking at the radar it almost looks like a swirl of echoes moving ENE through N Mass. I have not been following closely but is that the remnant of Nate or would the old center be further northwest? Edit: Warm front just came through. Windows in the house have been closed and they just fogged over. Looked and temp jumped to 67 with 66 dew. All happened very quickly. Kinda neat... moneypitmike
We did okay in the rain department here in GC. Lost a lot of leaves in the rain and now a bunch more are coming down with the breeze. 67.1*
dendrite
Sheet small droplet rains right now...really efficient drenchers. Man some of you guys complain about every event. There's lots of 0.50-1.00" obs out there and it rained and soaked in all day. Would you rather have 2" fall in an hour where most of it just runs off down to an ASOS tarmac? It hasn't stopped raining up here since around sunrise...eyeballing around 0.75" so far and it's just been a steady soaking. The 1-2" amounts were just NW of here in the northern Champlain Valley into the Montreal area where some are over 2". I like the synoptic look to the precip as opposed to convective. In the winter this is the time we add a few quick fluffy inches on westerly flow of a departing cyclone, lol.
