One of the most uncomfortable days of the summer. And, not a drop of rain to break it. Again. If I hear any talk of summer convection...I'll choke them. Today definitely sucked. The chickens took a trip into the woods on their own and practically ended up in Franklin. Still 70.6F here...just got back from Wally/MB in town and it feels no different from a torch mid summer night. The only weird thing is seeing pumpkins and Christmas decor. Just misery. We done with this after today. At least the deep summer nonsense.

moneypitmike
Probably the warmest night at the Pit in years Managed to get to 68.3 before the front came through when it bounced up to 71. Glad to have had the front slide through though; it's still 70.0 but a fresh breeze has kicked in. The past four days at the Pit: Wed--81.0 Tues:--80.9 Mon: 83.5 Sunday: 83.2 No mas. Looking forward to Saturday's progged high in the 50's.
