This one is under general anesthesia with an overnight in the hospital and a block of time out of work recovering. Mohs surgery in 2014 was numbing of the skin and no sedation or other meds-I walked home immediately afterwards. But maybe in autumns I have to get my skin cut into a big winter follows? You may be onto something! I have a pic of you in boston, we had a discussion about 14/15 winter and both were wrong by magnitudes of ten

I'll have some flexibility during recovery presuming I'm not too laid up so weenie time coinciding with the final month of pre season-or as Kevin puts it, mid winter. Flexibility is a good sign, meaning you don't have to rush back. All will be o.k. and you will be nice and healthy to walk the streets of Boston right after the Christmas week blizzard that's coming our way. Good luck! powderfreak
What a bipolar month so far... First 10 days saw highs in the 50s and 60s...with lows in the 30s/40s. That was like -7 to -10 relative to normal. From the 11th onward every day has had a high above 70F and a low above 50F. That's also been +7 to +10 relative to normal. The frst ten days, mixed with the last 10 days have cancelled out the month to -0.7 here at MVL. Given the forecast, this month will be the first above normal month since last spring. But just crazy how the first ten days were ridiculously cold (almost had to turn the heat on with those highs in the low to mid 50s), and then the next ten days went exactly the opposite way to average this out to only -0.7 departure as of the 20th. I don't mind this...yesterday was 75/51. Above normal at +8 but I mean can you really complain about that type of day with sunshine? Same with a bunch of sunny 80-82F afternoons. The 81/54 two days ago was beautiful weather but +12. This morning's low was 50F and we are around 80F now. Great sleeping weather and some late season "heat" isn't the worse thing out there. What we had in later August and early Sept was too early. I don't want to pay for heat in September. I do wonder how long it'll take till MVL has another high of 53F like on Sept 3rd. It could easily be early to mid October till we get into that type of chill again.

What are the records like out there at this time of year? 80s? What's really impressive is the duration out here (probably in part aided by the situation in the tropics).
