Soundings looked good for some sleet during the onset....seems to be verifying. Wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of sleet reports further south later when it starts.

Was sleeting for about 20 minutes and then it went back to mostly light snow for another 10 mins before tapering to scattered flurries.

36/28 now

Oh you have no idea the energy a view like that pumps into the town.

Haha cloudy gray cold day and people walking around like it's Christmas.

31/25 at 5:50pm.  Not bad to be below freezing by 6pm and it's not radiational cooling.  Just straight cold airmass.

I get it. Hell the slate grey sky and mid 40s. Felt like it here.

And this is just the mild-down before the arctic hounds.  I mean holy crap for November 10th.

The Mount Mansfield record lows include -2F for Friday (10th) and +2 for Saturday (11th). GFS has been fairly consistent in bringing in -20C (-4F) air in at H85 for Friday/Friday night. If that happens we will see the summits in NVT like Mansfield/Jay go below zero.

This is incredible to still see the GFS at 18z bringing in below -20C air here.  -10C all the way to the south coast and -15C to ORH.

We hit freezing at 3pm today after a high of 35. Definitely impressive for Novie!
