My parents drove through light snow just south of Rutland, VT earlier. So it made it at least up into the Killington area.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of sleet reports further south later when it starts. Was sleeting for about 20 minutes and then it went back to mostly light snow for another 10 mins before tapering to scattered flurries. 36/28 now

CoastalWx
Tough call. If we can get lift in the DGZ, then northern edge could coat. Otherwise it's sleet and paws.

powderfreak
Couldn't stop looking up at the mountain from town today...now with no leaves I can see the snowguns from my driveway. Blasting away like a glowing white beacon on the mountain in an otherwise bland November landscape.

And this is just the mild-down before the arctic hounds. I mean holy crap for November 10th. The Mount Mansfield record lows include -2F for Friday (10th) and +2 for Saturday (11th). GFS has been fairly consistent in bringing in -20C (-4F) air in at H85 for Friday/Friday night. If that happens we will see the summits in NVT like Mansfield/Jay go below zero. This is incredible to still see the GFS at 18z bringing in below -20C air here. -10C all the way to the south coast and -15C to ORH.
