It was never debunked but that reading was like 8F warmer than mine which I had never seen before. I did find out that a section of the tarmac had been redone that year...so I have my suspicions. It didn't matter in the end because the low temp got counterfeited the next evening so it never made it into the F6 data.

OceanStWx
Meanwhile, helluva bow echo approaching CLE. Even has a TDS currently, in the northern bookend vortex. Unfortunately that's unwarned.
Lava Rock
Upcoming cold shot caught me by surprise. I still have to clean the stove pipe and bring wood into the garage. Cut the lawn for the last time this weekend, so I guess it's time to put the snowblower on.

#NoPoles
Not that im enjoying these high dews from october spilling into November...but hell, I've got one more weekend of outdoor work and I really didn't want to die. I mean 50 degrees would have been perfectly acceptable. I feel like it's absurdly above normal or absurdly below normal. I'm probably going to have to dig out the winter boots and long underwear for work this weekend. Maybe even grab a stash of hand warmers.
Ginx snewx
So they are helicoptering the zip lines from a mile away at Fox Tower to the Base of the Museum tomorrow, cancelled today. I had to laugh at the chain of emails from the General contractor to the Helicopter company. The GC was quoting weather apps like wunderground saying today would be fine, the heli company came back with an aviation forecast and yea no. Lol I wanted to jump in but refrained from asking the GC, why the heck are you using Phone apps?

powderfreak
Just realized it has rained all 6 days so far this month. Amazingly consistent rainfall totals per day, too. 4 of the 6 days have featured between 0.25-0.31" of water. Nice active pattern.
powderfreak
It's coming. Temps falling. Down to 39F here at home and 34F at the base of the ski resort with 25F at the picnic tables.
WxBlue
Gave in and finally brought a heater for the upcoming cold. My apartment's heat alone wasn't enough for nights in 30s so I have very little faith it'll keep me warm this weekend.
