You’re wild.

Such a big difference in lifestyle between NNE folk and SNE. If i have 4 hours to myself I need action, play golf or something....I couldn’t watch Alvin, Simon, and Theodre at work.

Not knocking it, maybe when I retire...I’ll raise chickens and kill deer.

The most avid hunters I know (extended family) are in NE CT... they'll sit in a tree stand for a week out in the woods if it means getting a deer.

Ha. The infrastructure sucks and our capital is meh, but they’re trying to improve that. If we get the Whalers back then all is well, jk. But in all seriousness, it’s a nice state even though New Englanders think we are the armpit....but they come to our casinos at least.

At least you have New haven for pizza.

Nobody in SNE knows how to do pizza except a select few. These bullsh*t house of greasa's are terrible. Tough to find a North End Regina's quality pizza.  There is a place up the road in Lawrence that is one of the best around.

Greeks do it best.

Outside of the classic New Haven apizza, Flatbread Co. in Davis Square is the best I've had in Boston. There's a bowling alley in there too. Believe the owner worked formerly for American Flatbread in Middlebury VT. They make a damn good pie.

I honestly miss it. A lot of challenges to be sure but I’m hopeful necessary changes will help move the state forward in the next few decades. I might be the only person under 35 who wants to move back :(

I grew up in NJ so CT is a step up or two lol.

The “Lets Go CT” plan is a game changer for the state that should, barring any funding failures, get the infrastructure and the state moving in the right direction. We are way behind.

A lot of the newer places make a nice thin crust...but it lacks that old school appeal. I'm not sure how to communicate that..lol...but I love that authentic taste some of those pizzeria's have.

Violently disagree. A soggy piece of dough is not pizza.

Not here, Its not greasy dough, And there is many that can't or don't know how to do pizza, And papa johns and Pizza hut are NOT pizza,  Its more of a bread crust, And if i was portnoy, (One bite everyone knows the rules) I would give it an 8.2

Gotta be thin, a little chew, and a solid char on the bottom. Hot hot coal fired oven.

Best pizza dough is the sweet Italian dough.  Thick or thin , extra toasted or just done it's one if a kind.  Sweet pizza made with no cheese and eaten cold is something I recommend you try. Pizza Lady in Pawcatuck Ct has been making it since the 1920s.

Vienna Bakery in Barrington had cold sheets of pizza that were a staple at just about every party in town growing up. They've been making that since 1932.

Yep, Vocaturas. That Daves market chain has it, not bad but the Pizza Lady is perfect. She used to deliver in her car every Friday. Came in a yellow was paper wrap about 24 by 24 for a 1.75. Catholics didn't eat meat on Fridays. It was made in a coal fired outside oven, hand made dough. It still tastes the same.

Awfully behind. Hard to want to live in a place where it's hard to get to work or one of the big regional spots. My gf (who is a New Yorker) told me the other day she'd rather live in New Jersey than Connecticut. She might not be a keeper with that kind of talk lol.

I'll be sure to check it out if I chase a blizzard up there again this year :)

 Book it..................;)

You may have to re-evaluate the relationship. Of all the negatives of CT, NJ has it beat by a full horse length.
