powderfreak
Vail Resorts just purchased Okemo, Sunapee, Crested Butte (CO), and Stevens Pass (WA). Jay Peak is up for auction in July, there's some speculation that VR might take that at firesale prices.

tamarack
If one was willing to shovel off the surface dirt from the remaining snow pile under the Augusta downstream bridge's east end (and was an idiot, as no other would do it), one could have a run of about 20 yards. Pile was still about 15' tall late last week and might approach August 1. Still well short of 2008 when the "Central Maine glacier" finally expired on 8/25.
