bluewave
The clouds and rain interrupted any chances of a heatwave to start August before we cooldown again. Be interesting to see if we can sneak one more in before the summer ends or the 7-19 to 7-22 heatwave was the last of summer.
dWave
I was expecting a warm day with a few thunderstorms possibly but it ended up turning out to be a cool rainy day.
NJwx85
A lot of what's showing up on the radar is actually convective debris and not straitform rain. In other words the radar is more bark than bite outside of the main clusters of thunderstorms. Yankee game back on a delay.

If the WAR ends up stronger then maybe though it'll start getting more difficult to string together three 90+ days deeper into August especially under this pattern. Today's rain was good for the grass/plants here. Granted, it was heavy earlier today, but then a big batch rolled through later on that gave us a lighter and steadier rain which allowed it to soak into the ground better. 68° currently.
