CAPE
Decent soaking here but nothing special to this point. 0.90" Different story a bit south and east of here. SBY over to southern DE and the beaches have had 2-3". Looks like the heaviest axis will be oriented NW to SE from DC area to So MD to lower eastern shore. Going to be some 6"+ amounts there. Eskimo Joe
You can see the inflow really kicking up now...look at the cell from Laurel race west towards Damascus ...solid death band from Charles Town to Leesburg to maybe Bethesda setting up. Eskimo Joe
Kinda surprised there isn't a large flood warning being posted from Charlestown and Winchester east to Poolesville. that's some decent rains falling out there.

BlizzardNole
Rain really starting to pick up now. Sister about ready to depart Ft Lauderdale for BWI -- normally a 2 and a quarter hour flight. They have a flight plan going all the way west across TN, KY and into central OH, then a hard right towards BWI. Nearly 4 hour flight time. Bleh. Eskimo Joe
There really doesn't seem to be much past this blob in Winchester. Maybe this is going a bit faster than what the meso guidance is forecasting? Kind of a more rain, but in a shorter timeframe kind of deal?
