There's nothing more exciting or satisfying in life, than a good flood. Gaithersburg is Ground Zero. Enjoy. You'll be telling your grandkids about this one.

Blame it on me. I moved from Louisiana during the great Baton Rouge flood of 2016, brought with me absolutely no snow, but hey, you get floods!

PWS with 3.93" right behind the hospital there.

I'm at 1.24" on the day.

Headed into the office at around 2:00, just as the band currently in DC/Arlington started forming over Burke and just west. Poured for 10 minutes or so, but that's pretty much been it around here.

And I say it again: Good. You can have my (and yoda's) heavy rain.

It is no Lee, but still fun radar watching today.  My basement only gets water in mechanical failures, so as long as my plumbing, water heater, and whole-house humidifer are in working order, bring on the flood!
