Supercell that moved from RFD to ORD was fairly significant around here.

Had small hail and only a few tree branches down here. At the time though I was in Schaumburg and took a direct hit from a microburst. Encountered 1.25" (half dollar size) hail and well as 60-70mph winds.

Just down the street things were much worse, with one subdivision having damage to just about every tree. Numerous limbs/branches down, trees snapped at the truck and uprooted, trees on houses and cars and blocking roads in that area. Winds were likely upwards of 90-100mph at this location based on damage.

Additionally, flooding was fairly significant as well. Most roads featured some sort of flooding, including several main roads in the area. Water was up to the windows of cars in some spots with several stalled vehicles.

Up until now 8/23/07 had been the best severe storm I've experienced, but today definitely topped that.

I saw a pic on twitter from someone in Schaumburg... there was still like 3" of hail on the ground an hour later.

Yeah, it was literally 1 mile from my house. We had 3 tornadoes hit yesterday here. 2 EF 1 and 1 EF2 which hit Hamburg (My town). All 3 were 4-5 miles long in their path and 500-700 feet in width. One of the largest outbreaks in WNY in history aside from 1985 where an EF4 tracked across our southern counties.

I didn't know there were 3 . Also early in the day making that a special WNY moment.

Yeah severe weather here is extremely uncommon. Lake Eries shadow usually stabilizes the atmosphere all summer. Obviously nothing in comparison to what most of this forum is able to get in terms of severe weather. I lurk all summer watching you guys get hit by insane stuff, wishing I was there. ^_^

LOT confirmed an EF0 in northwest Indiana.  Not all that surprising as that was around the time I made that comment about the line looking interesting.  There were a couple couplets in there iirc.

I wonder if they have anything on Iroquois county.  I saw a pic of a funnel hanging very low.

As widely expected, it looks like Lizzie Bordon worked on the slight risk area on SPC's latest update. However, Eastern Lower Michigan- Winning?

Still not seeing it, but whatever...

Besides the factors mentioned earlier, we've been socked in stratocumulus for majority of the day (limiting instability).

Not much at home this time, but another hit where I was in Schaumburg.

I was very close to where I was during Friday's storm, and that hardest hit area.

This time had some penny size hail, as well as 50-60mph winds. Some 1-4" diameter branches down around here. Pretty much hit the exact same area again.

Also, as was the case on Friday, there was significant flooding with several roads and fields under 6-12"+ of water.
