downeastnc Posted July 29, 2017 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Had a few training thunderstorms hit last night starting around 3am for 1.5" of rain total.....also had a handful of thunders that felt like a giant was kicking the house, full on window rattling explosion type booms, some of the loudest most bone jarring thunder I have heard in a good while. drfranklin Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 high of 86.6 today (south of DT Greenville, SC) with little humidity - I've lived in various cities in the Southeast and have never experienced mid-summer weather like this - dropped off my daughter at YMCA Camp Greenville today (elevation 3200 feet, about 45 min north of Greenville) - 73 degrees at 3pm - amazing!
