I remember, maybe 4 or 5 July's ago, and right around this exact time, we had a couple of cool days that failed to get out of the 60's.

We continue the pattern of the low maxes being more impressive than the mins on the cool days. LGA had a -13 max and a -6 min yesterday.

Yep, for it to stay in the 60's during the day at the end of July is impressive.  Currently 60° right now.

Yeah, smaller + departure this month is mostly a result of the warmer mins.

after yesterday NYC is averaging 78.0 for July...the 1981-2010 average is 76.8...July could end up around 77.5 which would be a little above average...maybe we will see a temp below 60 for the first time this decade this week?...

Seems unlikely with so many clouds. Mid to upper 60s for lows the rest of the week
