The low pressure is moving out , therefore the barometric pressure is rising.

Surprised at how little thunder and lightning there was I think that was because the first couple of batches of rain lowered our chances and drier up the soupy atmosphere that we had earlier during the day yesterday. Also the sun had gone down by this time, which in the end resulted a much steadier rain and not so much a convectively type precipitation.

IrishRob17
Absolutely fantastic weather up here now. Dews started dropping early this morning with barely a cloud in the sky and a nice breeze. Lovely stuff.

I haven't seen any, but locals were telling me one of the harbors around here was heavily damaged. Driving to Georgia today and there are supposed to be some nasty storms on the way there, cold front is sagging south.

Drove through it for a bit on our way to our current location se of Atlanta. Up here it's beautiful, cooler and drier. Luckily today was a travel day so the rain didn't affect our plans at all. How was it an ef0 if it tossed cars in that parking lot? And a 500 pound dumpster hundreds of feet? I'm thinking over 100mph winds not 75!!
