RedSky
How much rain can you expect in SEPA today? 12k NAM - .25" 3k NAM - 0" (lol) GFS .25-.50" HRRR - .75-2" The irony to see models with the low output for this loaded with juice atmosphere. Radar is showing that potential SEPA split again.

When I was young (1970 I believe) we had one that was close to 95% and I remember writing down observations - the birds got quiet, the temperature dropped about 5 degrees, and of course it got kind of early duskish dark. Pretty cool. Not sure what to expect from 75% but I'll be checking it out. It'll be 80% down here, or .80 magnitude. I'm excited
The Iceman
Quakertown to perkasie should keep a close eye on this storm coming in. weak couplet currently showing up near red hill and the cell is isolated out ahead of the main line. I wouldn't be surprised to see this thing drop a weak tor at a moment's notice with the instability and shear in place.
Voyager
That line of storms looks like it means business. If it holds together, most should see a good storm event this evening.
RedSky
Great lightning until torrential rain commenced, now it's raining like a wall almost no lightning.
JTA66
Pretty underwhelming here, just a garden variety t-storm. A brief downpour, some good thunder & lightening but not much wind.
RedSky
Current lightning strike map confirms what I suspected a long time, few lightning strikes over the Bucks highlands\Unami forrest which storms jump over.
Hurricane Agnes
Just got in the door about 10 minutes ago. Horrible out there and it's now like an early eclipse - dark. Line is on my doorstep. Temp is 83F with dp 73. Some incredible mammatus clouds out there headed for Jersey. Getting lightning and some thunder and it's just starting to rain a bit. But it was one of those cases where the wx didn't match the radar. (I've always wondered how accurate those "doppler indicated" reports really are??)
