weatherwiz
I sort of forget the rule in which tells you which variable goes on the x-axis and which variable goes on the y-axis. Is it like dependent variable on on axis and the independent variable goes on the other? Trying to plot magnetic field vs current but don't know which goes on what axis. Magnetic field is dependent on the current so that might be magnetic field goes on x?
dendrite
More rain this evening. A whopping 0.03", but it produced another rainbow. I swear this has been the year for them. I think I've seen 10 of them already.

dendrite
Another brutal summer min of 55.0F this morning. It feels weird just peeking at MOS for early to mid Aug and seeing mostly 84/55 type days at CON in the extended. I'm too used to dog days this time of year. weathafella
I'm gonna miss summer-especially when we're in a crap pattern in winter and someone holds the candy of the hammer 10 days away.

CoastalWx
Even our "ratter" of 15-16 wasn't really that awful. At some point, 11-12 will knock on the door again. At the same time, I don't see any glaring signals for a lousy winter? KFS seems to be going for the big AK vortex?

weathafella
In all seriousness I think there are no strong signals either way so a ratter or epicosity and everything in between are on the table.
