I mean don't get me wrong, of any year, it would be the year I move to the area that we get a tropical system!

They're usually more entertaining than scary here.  Sandy was actually fairly boring in my yard. Isabel and irene were pretty wild though. Isabel's timing overnight and center track to the west was probably the best in my yard. Irene hit eastern areas really hard but was still a fun storm for all of us. Sorta ironic that this storm starts with an I too. Lol

A digital fantasy but that ULL over Ohio puts a pretty insane scenario on the table. No doubt about that.

It's got that Mid Atlantic mauling look to it doesn't it? Ohio Valley upper low with a Cat 5 cane being directed in by a giant Atlantic ridge. It's got Bob Chill special written all over it. I'm with you though. I'd be way more in shock if this was showing up on models next Thursday...

The crazy thing is the euro has had different versions of closing off h5 to our west as well. If you want to see sustained hurricane force winds hundreds on miles inland, a capture will do it. I know you know this. Just saying it kinda freaks me out.

If we keep locking in this deep, closed H5 pattern in the long range, then someone, somewhere along the east coast is in for a world of hurt and places inland will feel it like you said. Imagine how expansive this wind field would be JUST with a partial phase. You said it best earlier with this cane west of here would be a catastrophe. This run is coming up the bay. That would be the ultimate. Incredible.

I LOVE excessive rains so much! I want this so bad!

This is a track that is perfect for worshipping excessive rain events and hurricanes!
