Juliancolton
We'll have to watch the remnants of PTC 3/TS Cindy in the Gulf as they link up with a trough diving through the midwest this weekend. A big-ticket rain event seems unlikely, but the Canadian and a few GFS ensemble members show how the post-tropical system could get a baroclinic boost and become quite potent in the region. pazzo83
Tuscon is running 10F higher than yesterday as of 8am MST (99 vs 89), and yesterday they tied their 3rd hottest temp ever of 115F. So basically, it's 8am in Tuscon and it's already 100 degrees out.
NJwx85
The remnant rains from TD3 could merge with the trough moving through the Lakes which would really enhance the rainfall along the boundary as the LLJ rapidly strengthens.
