Memphis Weather Posted May 27, 2017 Share Posted May 27, 2017 Better wind profile in terms of directional shear with that Ardmore sounding (in addition to the insane CAPE of course). Bulk shear vectors more perpendicular to the dryline as well. Still pretty modest speeds in the lowest 1 km, but with the extreme instability and some increase in speeds possible towards 0z, could envision problems possible with with any cells down the dry line.
