moneypitmike
Appears mi casa is getting shellacked. I needed to add water to the pool, ftw.
weatherwiz
Really have to watch that main action to the west. Environment now becoming favorable for isolated tornadoes.

I dunno' radar looked mighty impressive but it has been very meh' here in Greenfield. Light to moderate bursts of rain with little to no thunder and lightning. tunafish
Looking WNW over PWM. That cell is the one that just moved through GYX.
Typhoon Tip
Looks like pulse severe at best. I think other's and myself discussed the training/heavy rain aspect and that seems to be k-indexing this out -
wxeyeNH
Overcast and darkish. Near constant thunder to SW, light rain. Very little definition to clouds, kind of like a dark rainy day. Training cells look about to start here. Could be a big rain event. No wind at all, no shelf cloud. Almost like we are in the rain from over riding anvils in front of the cells
HIPPYVALLEY
Showers with brightening sky to the west, hopefully we at least get a rainbow out of this.

wxeyeNH
Here we go. Heavy thunderstorm. Lots of lightning. Caught 2 bolts on this quick time lapse of the past few minutes. Almost a twist as the base cam over. https://video.nest.com/clip/755d7438445a43fa95673ad5dfc92109.mp4 Cable just went out. Don't know if this will send. radiator
I just found myself inside a new Western CT severe thunderstorm warning - right in that yellow box on the radar (for the cell that's near Pawling now). About a half hour until it gets here. Looks like it's nowhere near as active as the one north of Poughkeepsie, though. The earlier one passed to my north... Epicnova
So how likely are the chances of me getting something severe here in seekonk MA? If we do get something when might the timing be?
dendrite
Overall nothing impressive though. Some nasty CGs and heavy rain, but that's about it. Barely a puff of wind.

Same here. Lots of CG's past couple hours. Very little wind. Almost like a dark fall rainy day but with tons of lightning. Mostly moderate rain type stuff. Only about .40". Looks like a break and then the next line.
backedgeapproaching
Some decent gusts with that line that just came through SVT, nothing incredible, but a few power surges and looking outside maybe a few pretty small branches/limbs down. Rain has been meh in my exact location, heaviest stuff seems to have been near the NH/VT border.
eekuasepinniW
I almost never retreat from lightning, but the number of windows in this house sent me cryin' for my momma this time. I think a pole or something extremely close got hit... heard two loud zap-pops come from my bedroom and found several of my arc-fault circuit breakers tripped. Everything seems fine though. Thought that mini-bow coming up from the SW would pack some nice damaging winds, but there was not a breath of wind. 1.23"

Lightning tapered way off when the rain came (well, except for the strike that just hit about a mile south of here, that is) - and boy is it raining here... weatherwiz
I know lines are good for tornadic usually but it's moving into an area of 300 m2s2 storm relative helicity...that's ridiculous. Ewall have to watch as it enters central CT

HIPPYVALLEY
Meh'. 2nd time today we've been under a severe warning, line looked solid on radar then it comes through quite tame. .55" on the day so far.
