The radar is not only backfilling but the storm is crawling. Still have at least another 3-4 hours to go.

Still got rain falling from the sky...which is totally cool.

I have learned to enjoy rain...still waiting for the mega rain bomb in my area.

Don't worry, East coast is forecasted to be well above average rainfall wise this coming hurricane season. Hopefully we can have a Floyd or Irene repeat.

Usually too windy here for me for accurate rain totals with my exposed elevation. Radar scope storm total precip mode is usually pretty close to actual amounts. It is only showing the heavier amounts from the Highlands and to the NE in a narrow stripe. It seems accurate showing around an inch in Middletown now
