Closing in on an inch here in borough park, Brooklyn . .80in since 11am. I was driving on the Belt Parkway west at that time . Very bad flooding in the area of construction before and  after the mill basin bridge. Actually looks like the heaviest is shifting west of the city for now.

* At 1254 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated rain and embedded
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to
  two inches of rain has already fallen. An additional 1 to 2 inches
  of rain is expected. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will
  cause flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses
  as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
