CAPE
Looks like 1.6" will do it for here unless something pops up. Heavy rain/thunder has been right along the coast this morning. DE and NJ beaches are getting hammered. eta- total for the event was 1.76". Cool and damp with drizzle all afternoon.

wxdude64
More wind here today than yesterday, had a 37 mph gust at 4:04 pm. Been in the 15-25 mph range since 10 am or so with bigger gusts.
nw baltimore wx
Well, that was weird! A gust front just came through here that I could hear approaching for 15 - 30 seconds. I have no idea what we gusted to when it went through, but I am surprised that none of our trees went down.

North Balti Zen
The wind that popped up yesterday was quite noteworthy for sure. Left Baltimore at 2:00 to go to PA for my son's soccer game, and really, not much wind to speak of. Got out of the car up there at 3:30 and it was howling. Bizarre. Still windy this AM in Balt City. I want at least 3 105+ days in a row, 5 103+ days in a row, or 8 100+ days in a row. And a tropical system where we are in the right front quadrant. We haven't had a good one of those in a little while.

WxReese
The next few days are going to suck. I'm not ready to go back to full heat and humidity after being in the 50s just 3 days ago. This temperature whiplash is getting old. :/

BlizzardNole
Wow 90 all the way up at Burlington, VT! How about 69 at Thomas Point (off Annapolis) and 90-plus just miles away. Having to replace our HVAC last year was a gut punch, but man does that AC feel good -- the upstairs bedrooms can be kept as cool as the rest of the house whereas before there was a strong warm front draped across those steps, even with the fan on high. We don't even need the ceiling fans any more.
WxReese
93° so far at CHO. YUCK! It's also interesting to note that CHO's hottest temperature in 2015 was 93°. How I long for a summer like that again!
