Eskimo Joe
Over under on when all three climo sites hit their first 90 on the same day? I say Memorial Day.
yoda
So I hear you want snow still... .LONG TERM /FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY/... Strong low pres system over OH Fri morning with triple point over cntrl VA. Rain with some embedded convection will be ongoing east of the Blue Ridge 12Z Fri and then push east of the Chesapeake Bay during the afternoon as dry slot works in from the west. Deep Ern U.S. trough/closed low will keep cool and unsettled/showery conditions into early next week and likely beyond given blocky regime. Coldest temperatures likely to be on Mon when freeze warnings may become necessary for the higher elevs. As for any snow potential for the higher elevs, Sun night and Mon morning appears to be the best time frame for seeing some snow flakes. Looks very unlikely for at least 2 more weeks at least. We can skate in May pretty easy without all 3 hitting 90. June is almost always a lock though. I bet they see some snow We're heading out to the house in McHenry this weekend -- ironically enough, we had planned to dig up some old bushes/etc the previous owners planted and then redo the landscaping. I guess that's out now. Good thing we have plenty of firewood since it looks like we'll need it. First two weeks of May look pretty miserable IMO - I'm all about 70s+ this time of year.
