What's irritating is that the high temps at YIP and the low temps at ARB are what they are for reasons well explained, but then the puppet news broadcasts for shock value can point out these gawdy numbers that do not represent 98% of SE MI lol DET and DTW could both make a run at 90*F tomorrow at least. DTW's forecasting 88*F. And it's 71*F at 4am. It's hard to get that even in July.
Jonger
Just peeked at 2M temp anomalies on the GFS. Looks like we get 2 days of warmth and then right back to below normal for the remainder of the month.
weatherbo
Made it to 67 yesterday and still sitting at 60 this morning but should slowly fall through the day. 2-3" of rain possible as well. Sharp cool down tomorrow with temps falling through the 30's. I had 1.3" of snow last year on the 14th and that was the seasons last snow. If colder air wraps in a little quicker tomorrow, could see the this seasons last flakes... otherwise, they were May 3rd this year. Still haven't hit 70 yet and may not until June. UMB WX
up to 80 at the airport at 11am Very rare for MKE to be one of the warmest spots in the MW in spring. this setup is about the only way
Jonger
Really excited for below normal again. Lots of 60s coming back again. Perfect for everything except swimming.

Hoosier
I don't know about "cold" but there does seem to be decent support for cooler than average coming up. I had been thinking the last 3rd would trend toward near or above average, but it looks like it came early and it will be the middle third. Stebo
Furthermore the Op Euro and its ensembles are not locking in a massive cutoff low keeping the area cool. Even several of the GFS ensemble members keep it more so to our northeast. Yeah there is a cold period coming but it isn't going to lock in for 10 days, it's foolhardy to believe that. weatherbo
Dense fog and 48 with heavy rain moving in. Decided to get a fire going just in case the storms sw of here knock the power out with a wind gust. A very wet night in store before ending as some wet snow flakes. Powerball
I think DTW made it to 88°F today, after a record high low of 68°F (breaking the record of 67°F in 1962). Record high for today was also set in 1962, at 93°F.
SchaumburgStormer
Lots of issues in central IL with "dust outs". Saw a video of a vehicle on the interstate and you could not see the other direction of traffic.

Ottawa Blizzard
This upcoming cold front reminds me a bit of what happened in May 1992. Toronto went from a high of 86 on the 23rd to a high of 52 on the 24th. This won't be quite as extreme as that, admittedly - the morning low on May 25th, 1992 was 32! Kinda makes me sick seeing 850's at 0-5°c for nearly 5 days straight though. Bring on some warmth less the rain and 50° days

I couldn't believe how many tractors I saw out in the fields during that. Many are still rushing to get the crops in due to all the rain in past weeks. I think a lot of farmers around here lost some top soil yesterday, and it's probably up in Wisconsin about now lol.

weatherbo
38 with wrap around rain this morning...1.5" so far. It's definitely a raw out and no temp in the forecast above the mid-50's for the next week or longer. Give me warm and wet!
Powerball
It looks like the lows at DET and DTW were 73°F and 72°F respectively. Now we're off to the races with full sunshine expected through at least the early afternoon hours.
