superjames1992
Bet anything this turns into a midwest, mid atlantic, and NE storm now. This nam run the start of a trend. Ready for warmer weather here if we can get snow. Overreact much?
Wild Weather Monger
From Accuweather's Frank Strait First, the NAM hoses us on the latest run. Then you post this from Accuweather . Kiss of death for sure!
jrips27
First, the NAM hoses us on the latest run. Then you post this from Accuweather . Kiss of death for sure! ha! maybe for you, I'm only in his 1-3 zone
weatherfide
Looks like I'm back to wrap around flurries...I hope tomorrow brings a trend back to the old Euro.
Brick Tamland
Well, I guess I still see some snow, but I don't like the trend of the latest GFS and NAM. It seems to be getting worse, not better. The next Euro run is going to be very interesting.
bingcrosbyb
Slightly ironic that everyone on this board hopes the Euro is correct and the American models fail. Yet, we are on the American Weather Forums.
BullCityWx
Sorry guys, I posted about ET in the wrong thread. He's up to 2-4" now for CLT and the surrounding region, less toward Chester Co, SC.
Cheeznado
First, the NAM hoses us on the latest run. Then you post this from Accuweather . Kiss of death for sure! This map cracks me up- pure Euro hugging typical Accu-Wrong worst case scenario forecast. They are so predictable...Not saying this is impossible, but going 100% Euro with so much other guidance not as strong is the height of irresponsibility. weatherfide
I would not be surprised to see FFC drop back and remove the snow wording from the forecast for all points south of Atlanta after tonight's model output. Frankly, I wouldn't blame them.
Itunis
I would not be surprised to see FFC drop back and remove the snow wording from the forecast for all points south of Atlanta after tonight's model output. Frankly, I wouldn't blame them. Yeah their 1-3" north of Macon call was pretty bold. If the Euro holds strong tonight I think it'll stay in even with disappointing GFS/NAM runs, but if the Euro budges all bets are off IMO.

weatherfide
I'm going to wait until the 12z data runs in the global models tomorrow before jumping ship. The sudden variability among the major global models is fishy to me.

DopplerWx
Doesnt sound bad for eastern NC and SC. QPF amounts are .5"-.75" which equals a REAL nice snow event. Western carolinas get screwed over though.
downeastnc
Just one run I would at least give the models a couple of runs to sort all the new data out. Still plenty of time......
