The Euro despite being most pessimistic with the rain in the morning is most optimistic for the afternoon because it's so progressive with the system.   The GFS and NAM pretty much hold low ceilings all day after the rain clears

Euro clears it out as in partly sunny by the PM?

Cloudy gloomy day here.. Occasional drizzle as well

Hmmph.  It's actually been pretty nice here today.  Mostly cloudy but when the sun peeks through it warms up and feels good.  A super black cloud just rolled through, got really dark like it was going to storm but it didn't.

Hoping for minor precip amounts tonight and early tomorrow.

18 z runs of nam/gfs bring is rain over the next 48 hours.

Green lawns will be normal..if you have a yard.

Gardens will be producing food & farmers giving the High Five at the local diner.....

Tomorrow should be fine, it's tomorrow night and Monday morning that look wet

Hmmm, remember when I was mocked for saying Monday would be stormy?

Today has been overcast and humid, but got the round in. Playing again tomorrow morning, hoping the rain holds off.

if you call .30 stormy then yes.   outside of the NAM most models are not that wet.   3K NAM is also on the dry side

Sucker hole around Philly and S NJ starting to show up.   If that ends up further north, it may not be that bad of a day....normally this would be a big who cares, it's Monday.....

I would be shocked if there is a wash out.....in the entire area.

Buddy told me that lives in cape may, nj rained most of the day so far.

No worries on my end...but if it rains....let it rain hard.

I agree-that makes decisions about parades and BBQ's all the easier....

Stop being a QPF queen. You know better than that. Most models don't handle convective precip well.

Metsfan BBQ already cancelled. lmao

Who the hell cancels the BBQ already.....

way too early.  Tomorrow night at the earlier or whenever the food has to be bought.  Ours is rain or shine...not looking forward to everyone inside-at least if it stops by 4-5pm the kids can play football out in the yard....

If it's convective driven, then some areas could end up fairly dry.

I hate the term QPF Queen...

Also....I have not been a ground zero rain event in 5 years or had a severe t-storm.

Lots of strong storms...but nothing severe...unless cloud to ground strikes are severe now.

That's surprising. Usually Eastern Sussex is a good spot.

nope....years ago I hear from locals about a storm that blew down trees in vernon valley.

according to the NWS standards..what is a severe t storm...I have yet to see it.

I get 1 to maybe 2 storms a year with pea size hail.

Never had a wind gust on my weather station above 38 mph. Davis too.

Plan to raise my anemometer 9 feet higher in June.

Get heavy rain, gusty wind and on occasion cloud to ground strikes.

I have gotten into arguments with Mt Holly about the storm classification.

Lots of severe T storm warnings......informing coming over my house.

Okay I've seen hail 3 times in my entire life, and once was in Delaware. One night an ex girlfriend was driving home from my parents house up Rt 23 and she called because she said it was hailing badly in Riverdale, as large as ping pong balls. I got nothing, maybe five miles to the South.

that is amateurs stuff. I saw 6 inches of hail east of denver in the plains in 1995. Violet storm.

hail as big as oranges.  talk about a. big storm..we pulled over in an underpass with around 8 cars/trucks.

Recall when we got to Denver.....towns 15 miles SE of us got drilled. twister and 2 feet of hail on the ground.. made the local news.

Colorado get severe storms, sky as  the color u expect in a crayola crayon

Well of course, I haven't spent much time out West and have only ever flown over that area.
