Yeah, I got that NWS statement, looks like it will be just north of the Bx though. At least the strong part of it. I bet some light rain/drizzle get to maybe 233rd St. 80% of the boro stays dry. However, for mid May in rural suburbia north of the 40th parallel, even a low end heat wave is extremely rare.
