Just thinking that LGA temps are off, they are running way higher than any surrounding areas. Newark is usually the hot spot. Anybody else think that way?

The record warmth erased the cold departures at most locations through the 18th. Newark is taking its turn as being the cool spot this month.

LGA...+1.9

JFK...+0.1

I canceled a fishing trip today; it was supposed to cool down but is now progged to hit 90 again; many lakes are growing weeds and algae already. Can't remember a heat wave this early, though I don't think we actually met the criteria for an official one.
