Memphis Weather
Sounds like the pictures are of a dealership. Which might be good since it means most or all of those cars were probably unoccupied.

JasonOH
I have a friend whose friend is in Fruitvale at her boyfriend's grandparent's house. So far she isn't answering her phone, but that isn't surprising since the tornado just passed. edit: they left town to the east before the warning was issued. They are safe

Jim Marusak
not sure who is looking at the dual pol CC and ZDR products on the Tundra/Canton/Fruitvale tornado. but if i was reading them correctly, it looked like potential debris signatures up to between 20 and 25kft (via tilts to 3.5) . definitely looks like it hit something nasty. Drz1111
It was obvious for a while that the tail end Charlie on this line was getting uncontaminated inflow with tons of low level shear. That's why we and others were on it. The enhanced risk was bc every other storm on the line was getting interfered with. youre already seeing that process repeat itself now. Jim Marusak
one thing that is scary out in Emory and such, your tilt-1 (0.5) is at ~7500-8000ft agl on the FWS radar. don't know if i'd want to see the numbers closer to the ground if it's tossing out the signatures this high.
