Right on cue, convection is firing in ESE Texas, and hopefully the mesohigh from their outflow can back the surface winds a little extra over east Texas this afternoon. Good call on this area today. jojo762 Posted April 29, 2017 Share Posted April 29, 2017 These circulations today across OK and Texas are really developing in what would normally be bizarre parts of the storm (shrouded/surrounded by rain)... Must be due to lack of upper-level venting, as andy mentioned earlier I believe. Low-level winds are such that we are likely to see numerous circulations today but gonna be hard, if not impossible, to get any that are long-lived.
